Here's the USCCR report on voter disenfranchisement in Florida 2000.
http://www.usccr.gov/pubs/vote2000/report/main.htm
" *
During Florida?s 2000 presidential election, restrictive statutory provisions, wide-ranging errors, and inadequate resources in the Florida election process denied countless Floridians of their right to vote.
*
This disenfranchisement of Florida voters fell most harshly on the shoulders of African Americans. Statewide, based on county-level statistical estimates, African American voters were nearly 10 times more likely than white voters to have their ballots rejected in the November 2000 election.[5]
*
Poorer counties, particularly those with large minority populations, were more likely to use voting systems with higher spoilage rates than more affluent counties with significant white populations. For example, in Gadsden County, the only county in the state with an African American majority, approximately one in eight voters was disenfranchised. In Leon County, on the other hand, which is home to the prosperous state capital and two state universities, fewer than two votes in 1,000 were not counted. In Florida, of the 100 precincts with the highest numbers of disqualified ballots, 83 of them are majority-black precincts.
*
Even in counties where the same voting technology was used, blacks were far more likely to have their votes rejected than whites. "
That's really depressing.

if you read the article i posted, the majority of these counties were not even run by the Republicans.
Also, where did all this information come from???
It came from the link in the post above by suck my oil.
I don't know if the counties were run by dems, but I do know who the state is run by. Woops.
"if you read the article i posted, the majority of these counties were not even run by the Republicans."
No I will not read that right wing bullshit article. Bush and his whore media lied about weapons of mass destruction. After that, I can trust them on nothing, nothing.
By the way, I am not in this post referring to all media as Bush whore media. However, all of those links you gave me are whore sources.
yeah, only trust liberal whore media. do you honestly believe there is non-partsian media?
there isn't. you get either a conservative point of view or a liberal. while yes, some sources are more extreme right or left, to get the whole picture you still have to see both sides. you have to watch both fox and cnn when it comes to news. both are a bit ridiculous.
but neither is completely the truth. your sources are as much whore media as mine.
i'm not even really a supporter of bush. the only reason i'm voting for him is because badnarik is against the war and the draft and i feel both are neccessary. that and as i've already said, economically i totally disagree with kerry.
all i was saying is that to state that "bush stole the election" as though its a factual statement is ridiculous. You may believe that Farenheit 9-11 type arguments are valid. I see it as contorting the facts even further than you can argue of any of the statments I have posted. Its like I said, its unfair to say he stole it as though its a fact and it could be argued that Gore stole it if he won.
Take a look at your sources and ask yourself how non-partisan they really are. I only question your logic b/c in previous threads you have completely defended Farenheit 9/11 and that is the biggest piece of contortionist propaganda i have ever seen.
